6hp tiller boats
Best when you have a small group and a simple plan: stay close to Hvar, visit Pakleni, swim, have lunch, and come back without trying to do too much.

Hvar Town · Croatia
Simple tiller boats for easy days around Hvar and the Pakleni Islands. Two 6hp boats and one 8hp, rented direct with David.
What small boat rental is for
Not every plan needs a big motorboat. David's smallest tiller boats are for guests who want an easy, low-stress day on the water close to Hvar.
You use them for short runs to nearby bays and the Pakleni Islands, swimming, a lunch stop, and a quiet return – not for long crossings or big itineraries.
This page covers his two 6hp boats and one 8hp, so you can decide if a small tiller boat is the right starting point for your day.
Which small boat fits your day
Best when you have a small group and a simple plan: stay close to Hvar, visit Pakleni, swim, have lunch, and come back without trying to do too much.
Best when you want the same kind of boat as the 6hp, but with a bit more power for a full day and a slightly heavier load.
If you’re not sure whether a small tiller boat is enough for what you have in mind, ask David before you book. It’s easier than guessing from a booking grid.

5m open tiller · up to 6 guests · two boats available
David has two identical 6hp tiller boats. Each is around 5 metres long and set up as a simple open boat with a tiller at the back and basic seating.
They can take up to 6 guests and are designed for short and medium days close to Hvar – think Pakleni, nearby bays, a few swim stops, and a relaxed return, rather than long open-sea runs.

5m open tiller · up to 6 guests · one boat
The 8hp tiller boat is the same open style as the 6hp boats – 5 metres long, tiller-steered, simple layout – but with a bit more power.
It still suits local routes around Hvar and the Pakleni Islands, but handles a full day and a slightly heavier group more comfortably than a 6hp when conditions are right and the plan is realistic.

Where these boats make sense
These are local boats first. The value is in simple, close-range days – not in trying to turn them into long-distance speedboats.
Short and realistic outing from Hvar Town. Perfect for a few bays, a lunch stop, and swimming without needing more boat than you actually use.
Good for nearby swim spots and short moves along the coast, especially if you want a low-stress first day on the water.
If you don’t want a full-day commitment, a small tiller boat is enough for a shorter afternoon or early evening spin near Hvar.
If your plan starts to sound like a long list of far-away places, you probably need a different boat. Send David your idea and he’ll point you in the right direction.
Important limits and safety
These small boats are not built for long open-sea crossings or big itineraries. They are for sensible local days, not for pushing distances.
If you are even slightly unsure whether your idea fits a small tiller boat, ask before you book.
